Artist Statement: This is one of three short public domain video edits taken from an archived Periscope promotional film series from the 1950s. Original music was scored for all edits. I wanted to portray how nostalgia has manifested out of the portrayal of industrial America and how it fits into our reality today. Through use of electro-synthesis, the future elicits a sense of both warmth and fear.
