See Which Depeche Mode Song Fits Your Zodiac

November 9, 2016

BY JOANNA C. VALENTE

I love walking down memory lane, and for me, an easy way to do that is listening to music that I've loved since I was a teenager. Depeche Mode, of course, is one of those bands. As such, I started to think about Depeche Mode songs that correspond with zodiac signs, and came up with a list below:

ARIES

You're outgoing and passionate about what you want. Life is a whirlwind for you, and you're not afraid to put yourself out there. Yes, you're "Personal Jesus."

"Take second best
Put me to the test
Things on your chest
You need to confess
I will deliver
You know I'm a forgiver"

TAURUS

You can be stubborn and afraid to show your emotions, since you often strive to be levelheaded and pragmatic. "Halo" is totally your anthem.

"And when our worlds
They fall apart
When the walls come tumbling in
Though we may deserve it
It will be worth it"

GEMINI

You feel your emotions very intensely, some say you're moody because you often change your mind or seem indecisive, but it's more that you want to explore all of your options. You're "People Are People."

"I can't understand
What makes a man
Hate another man
Help me understand"

CANCER

You're the creative type, and nothing says more creative than "Little 15."

"Why take the smooth with the rough
When things run smooth
It's already more than enough"

LEO

You're loud, proud, and love to be the center of attention. So this choice shouldn't surprise you, because it's all about you, and who you want to be: "Blue Dress."

"It is to please me
Because when you learn
You'll know what makes the world turn"

VIRGO

Virgos are extremely organized and pragmatic, sometimes to a point where they hide their emotions. However, that doesn't mean virgos don't feel deeply, it can just take a lot for them to open up. Many are very introspective, hence why you are "Policy of Truth."

"You had something to hide
Should have hidden it, shouldn't you
Now you're not satisfied
With what you're being put through"

LIBRA

Libras are social, gentle, diplomatic people--you are the person others confide in, because they feel comfortable around you. "Stripped" is definitely you.

"Stripped down to the bone
Let me hear you speaking
Just for me
Let me see you"

SCORPIO

Scorpios always get a bad rap for being the "crazy" sign, but it's more that they are intense--and crave intimacy. Sometimes they can be impulsive and risk-taking because of this, but they also live to the fullest--hence you are the classic song "Shake the Disease."

"I'm not going down on my knees,
Begging you to adore me
Can't you see it's misery
And torture for me"

SAGITTARIUS

While the centaur is vivacious, open-minded and hearted, Sags are also philosophers and creative types. Because of this, they aren't always as cheerful as their image tends to portray. They love asking the hard, deeper questions in life--which is why "Never Let Me Down Again" captures who you really are.

"See the stars they're shining bright
Everything's alright tonight"

CAPRICORN

Capricorns are often planners, they seek stability and comfort, sometimes at the risk of going the safe route, as opposed to what they feel passionate about. Because of this, you can often feel unsure of what to do, on the bright side, it makes you think of all your options. You are "Enjoy the Silence."

"Words like violence
Break the silence
Come crashing in
Into my little world"

AQUARIUS

You're definitely an independent person, one full of unique ideas--and you often are free-spirited and wild. You don't want to be tied down to anything, which is why the quintessential break up song "In Your Room" is all you.

"In your room
Where souls disappear
Only you exist here"

PISCES

Pisces are all about their connections with other people--they love the comfort of others, and can trust pretty easily. This makes them compassionate, but also vulnerable, and easy to hurt. Clearly, you're "Heaven."

"I dissolve in trust
I will sing with joy
I will end up dust
I'm in heaven"
