A Desert Playlist for your Inner Sun Sign

June 14, 2018

BY TRISTA EDWARDS

It is almost Cancer season. It is that time of year when the Sun puts us all under a hypnotic, sweltering solar spell.  If the Moon reminds us we have a soul, the Sun reminds us we have a body.

We sweat. We bare our skin. We lounge poolside. If we are lucky, we take long drives out into the middle of nowhere and gaze into a grand star-swathed night sky.

On June 21, the Sun will pass over the Tropic of Cancer, marking the summer solstice, and for approximately three days the Sun will appear to stand still atop the sky. We will feel the full effect of the star's unforgiving heat.

Here's a little desert vibes playlist (with a couple of choice accompanying videos) to enhance the coming summer days.

Stay cool, sun babes.
