BY KAILEY TEDESCO
Luna Luna readers, contributors, and editors were kind enough to send us their gorgeous and spooky Halloween outfits! Let these beauties be your Halloween muses for 2019 — it’s never too early to start planning next year’s look!
1. Mattie Ganson
My mom and I made this bat costume using a sewing machine and a bunch of hot glue. My mom and dad have matching costumes that they’re going to wear when they hand out candy, but we haven’t gotten a family bat costume photo yet.
2. Kristin Garth
I dress up as Wednesday Addams a lot on Halloween because it was a childhood nickname and I just felt very sentimental inside that persona. To me being called that name (even though I was forced to assume a very devout Puritan persona in my everyday attire) made feel seen for the darker, wilder individual I was.
3. Hannah Cohen
I dressed up as the kickass, amazing mama bear Joyce Byers for Halloween.
4. Andrea Lambert
This is an ad hoc witch costume put together for a surprise Halloween party from ritual garments in my home.
5. Kolleen Carney
My husband and I dressed up as the "is this a pigeon" meme!
6. Courtney Jameson
Dressed as The Ghost of Black Dahlia with a custom crown from our friend, Melissa Jayne, at St. Hedwig Atelier!
7. Alaina Leary
My fiancee, Macey, and I dressed as a sea witch and a mermaid for Halloween.
One of our engagement photos from Salem, Massachusetts. We're both wearing witch hats.
8. Melanie LaForce
Looking gorgeous in two different looks!
I dressed as Lizzie Borden for A Witch’s Craft reading series/Halloween event because I recently finished a collection of poems about Borden!
Also, my husband and I attended a zombie ball dressed as Violet and Klaus Baudelaire. Unfortunately, no one got it…
10. Brianna Phillips
I was Mary Sanderson from Hocus Pocus and my boyfriend, Kyle Bongiovanni, was Billy but a lot more gross.
We were also Jim and Pam.
11. Emily Tedesco
My boyfriend, Isaac Bredbenner, and I went as possessed ventriloquist dummies.
12. Zach Tedesco and Austin Kabordo
We’re Lt. Dangles and Billy Hargrove.
13. Laura Diaz De Arce
[I] channeled a cuddly vixen and went as a fox to work.
14. Andi Talarico
A beautiful look from our Book Reviews Editor!
15. Melissa Jayne
I couldn’t resist this vintage-inspired Satan costume from Bettie Page Lingerie.
16. Lisa Marie Basile
Our Luna Luna Founding Editor & Creative Director looking fierce as always!
17. Joanna C. Valente
Luna Luna’s senior managing editor as the Greek goddess Aphrodite.
